Our premium Korean NiteRyder and Split Purple-nality towels have this style of construction and people love them because they work amazingly well for nearly anything, but they will catch imperfections in your skin when you run your hand across, just the same way that a cheap Chinese microfiber terry with closed-loop construction would.īasically, your paint is safe with any of our towels meant for detailing, whether it's Chinese or Korean, as long as it's being used properly. No matter where a towel comes from, if it's a closed-loop pile, it's going to feel at least a little catchy. It's a way you can tell a towel has "closed-loop" construction, which essentially means the fibers have little loops at the end that act like microscopic velcro, catching the slightest imperfections of a person's skin. The "catchiness" that people feel with towels is not something specific to cheap towels. Of course, depending on the style of towel your getting, some will be much better suited for detailing than others, so if you're going to be using them on your paint, I'd highly recommend the Creature Edgeless or Edgeless 365's, which are both premium 70/30 blends just like our nicest Korean towels. They use most of the same state-of-the-art European machinery that our South Korean factories do, and they build to a much higher standard than other Chinese factories we came across. Historically, the South Korean ones have been the top of the heap, with Chinese ones ranging anywhere from "dumpster fire" to "wow, that's actually really good".įortunately, we only our Chinese towels from one factory, which we spent over a year to find. I'd like to note before anyone gets discouraged regarding the cost of shipping on liquid products in particular: Hopefully that helps clarify the rules so everyone knows how this new stuff works!

For customers making an order of $100 or more, we offer a code that will remove the liquid/chemical fee entirely. If your order is over $40, the shipping will be free, but the $6.95 will still apply since you bought one or more liquid/chemical products. Since the normal Domestic Free Shipping rules still apply, if your total order is under $40 and has a liquid or chemical product in it, you'll have the normal $6 flat-fee shipping as well as the $6.95. This fee is only applied once per order, so getting multiple bottles of a chemical or different liquid products in the same order won't change or increase the fee. (Other places offer Free Shipping on things too, of course, but you have to spend anywhere from $75 to $150 at those places to even qualify!)īasically, our retail site's system is set up so that Free Shipping works for orders $40 & up like usual, but getting a liquid or chemical product will automatically add a $6.95 flat-fee to the order.
